Find the right request
Filter by account, status or owner before making changes. In the demo snapshot there are five requests, including one escalated and one waiting. Request REQ-4821 concerns reconnecting production events for Acme Robotics.
Give the handoff context
An assignment should make the next action clear, not just move a name between columns. Confirm the account and request ID, choose an eligible owner and describe the dependency. Waiting is appropriate when another person or service must act first.
Verify the outcome
After saving, look for the confirmed owner and the matching activity entry. If the version changed while you were editing, refresh and review the latest request before retrying. A conflict is a prompt to reconcile changes, not an instruction to overwrite them.
