Read events in context

The audit trail records who acted, the workspace, the object, the outcome and the sequence. Use the sequence to distinguish successive edits. A denied action is useful evidence of an attempted change, but it is not a successful business operation.

Use the receipt to resolve uncertainty

After a timeout, locate the receipt or current object state before issuing a new operation. A replay of the same idempotency key should identify the original outcome. Never describe a pending operation as complete because the browser stopped waiting.

Share only the evidence needed

Audit access is included in Scale and still follows workspace permissions. Share references and redacted event details when investigating an incident. Avoid exporting an entire workspace when a specific request receipt answers the question.
