Read the object behind the alert
A notification draws attention to an account, request or integration event. Open the referenced object and check its current state before acting. The underlying state may have changed since the alert was created.
Tune frequency to your role
Choose the channels and frequency that fit your responsibilities. A daily summary suits portfolio review; operational incidents may need quicker attention. Marking an alert read does not close the request or acknowledge a financial change.
Keep the handoff explicit
When another teammate takes over, update the request owner and leave a useful description of the next step. Do not rely on a notification being seen as proof that work was accepted. Verify the assignment and the related activity entry.
